A highly-illustrated (including a balloon party photo from my Fetish Retinue) article based on an interview with author Katharine Gates about some of the kinks discussed in her new book, Deviant Desires: A Tour of the Erotic Edge, available now.
“Balloons combine the touchy-feely and smelly power of latex with the excitement of growth and the fear of explosions. “After calling several of the city’s more fashionable adult shops, including The Pleasure Chest (of Sex and the City fame) and coming up empty-handed, I found what I was looking for at The Baroness Latex—a latex-only boutique in the East Village where celebrities like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Katy Perry, and even Kylie Jenner have all turned to for their various latex fashion needs.”
My monthly Kink’n’Draw, an intimate gathering of people with art supplies (some of them talented) and a pair of kinky models for inspiration, takes place the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Lucky, 168 Avenue B, between 10th & 11th Streets, NYC, starting around 7:30 PM. I alternate hosting the event each month with Lady Zombie.
J.Oliver Conroy did a nice write-up of the event for Bedford + Bowery magazine.
